Holly Court Inn was chosen as the location for the filming of a romantic federal period mystery titled "Deception".  

The Inn was trasnsformed into the Hopton Plantation as the focal setting of the film where the story of James William Middleton and Sara Hopton take place.

The story  unfolds in the year 1850, where drama, mystery and romance takes place at the Hopton Plantation. James William Middleton,  an heir to the family estate, is a free spirit that never takes any type of responsibility. When life takes an unexpected turn, he finds himself married and with a plantation to take care of.  All of this happens without anyone noticing he is not the man that he claims to be.

The film was produced by Mestey Films Productions . It was written by Vianlix Mestey who is also co-staring in the film. 

Deception will be premiered in Washington, Georgia in July of 2008. From there it is expected to wow them at select film festivals.
